What a DAMN Close Shave!!

This morning as Fergus (Grandfather) was unlocking the garage shutter; it sprang open and unhooked it from the steel hoop. I squatted with both hands on the lip of the shutter while the metallic scraping noise could be heard.

Out of the blue, Fergus dived at me and crashed into my thighs, I though he was insane! Why the hell would he do that?!! Both of us went sprawling to the ground, we waited in anticipation for the explosion but there was none. Fergus put up his Leatherman and carefully cut through the fishing line, slowly he raised his hands pulled the IED (Improvised Explosive Device) free, after which, he rolled onto one side, cut the two leads attached to the battery before removing it and throwing it into the garage. Fergus then entered the garage before coming out with the plastic explosive.

Youtube Videos I strongly recommend (Mostly...Comedy)

Hi! I'm back again this time for another round of English blog assignments! Woohoo! Anyway let's get back to the matter at hand. This time, I think the topic is a little more interesting than the others, so it seems... This time, it's... Youtube Videos, however most of them are in the genre, comedy.

Let's get back to reality shall we. Like I said, youtube videos and I absoulutely adore comedy like for example, go onto youtube and search for a video called Hook on Fonik, it's riduculously, I nearly laughed my head off. If that still doesn't satisfy you, why check out the movies in minutes series by nigahiga where they make parodies of movies, such as: Twilight, New Moon, X-Men Origins, Saw 12, The Grudge and even Titanic plus Transformers: Revenge of the Household Objects.

If THOSE still doesn't get close to your daily dose of hysterical laughter and random actions, then try out another series by nigahiga: Skitzos where they do all kind of random stuff like making a Public Service Anouncement on drugs, playing with fire, smoking, etc. If you're free, why not check out the other videos that Nigahiga made under the 'more from Nigahiga section' where there are sure to be plenty of videos that will definitely crack you up somehow...I guess. For example, the video on why Chris Brown beat up Rihanna and The Shamwoohoo!, together with how to be guides from nigahiga as well.

There are also movies that they either stared in or they edited and these happen to be the only two. Like NInja melk which is around half an hour and Ryan and Sean's nost so excellent adventure. Seriously trust me, these videos will make you laugh... for at least a while... I hope. But anyway, if these still don't get you up and laughing, I have no words left to say to you, I'm sorry I have nothing to say to you... Just kidding. Also some of those videos are purely random which would probably last around a few seconds and even I don't get the meaning of making them.

Anyways, those are the videos and I strongly recommend that you watch first before watching any others, if you do have the time, please don't be afraid to post your comments or other videos you recommend, I would gladly watch them. Also thank you so much for taking the liberty to read this , you have NO idea how much it means to me...Seriously.

Friends...Good and Bad

I did a blog post just yesterday and yet I'm back again to do another. This time around, I'm doing about friends. I'm only doing this because I feel that I have to voice out my opinion about this matter and I'm also rushing to finish my school deadline. Okay, let's get back to the topic at hand.

Like I said, friends... they can do a great deal of influence on people around them. For example like me, I just went on to another school. And not long later, I started playing yugioh and joined facebook even I didn't know how to play yugioh at first and I despised having a facebook acount. Why did I do that? Well because of the simple reason that my friends have an overwhelming influence over me as I tend to give way to them in order not to upset or anger them in any way possible.

Fortunately, the friends that I made are not the kind who takes advantage of me or takes me for granted, but in primary school... that's a different case. Back then, while I was still small, I didn't have many friends as they often stay away from me due to me being quite obese. Even if I did make friends, they weren't true ones unlike the ones I have now. But something kept me going in those dark times, when I was 2 and a half years old, my mother brought me over to meet with one of her friends's son and soon we became the best of friends. I can you tell you this, our friendship lasted for over eight years and whoo! That's a pretty long time if you ask me.

However, things gradually came to an end when I was in primary four, my friend migrated to Shanghai as his father was moved there, in order to not have such a complicated family, they decided to go ahead with it. Fortuitously, our birthday's were just two days apart and thus decided to celebrate our birthdays on the same day to make much more grand than before. And finally when he left, I felt lonely for once but slowly that went away when I made new friends and I was happy again.

The thing is that friends can make you change your mind easily or even alter the way you think with a snap of a finger. i had my fair share of having bad friends in which they left after they got what they wanted from me, but also there are friends who are willing to go to great lengths just to help them. Unfortunately, I'm the kind of person who would pratically do anything to help someone regardless of friend or foe. If you do have this kind of experience to share, then fine by me, I'm all ears. However, if you never had a taste of having a friend stab you in the back maybe you're just... lucky...

Famous Celebrities (Mostly Musical Ones)

Welcome back to seeing my post... This time, even though this is strictly another one of my school blog assignments, this also happens to be one of the issues in which I would like to stress very much about. For example, I would be expressing my thoughts about a variety of musical celebrities ranging from old to new and mostly English.

First off, have you read the newspaper recently that Lady Gaga's bad romance is on the top 10 and seriously, I have to say it was okay song. On the other hand, the song behind it named All The Right Moves by One Republic is GOOD. I'm not trying to say that I'm biased to either one of them, it's just that my perception of them might be differnet from yours, so no offense if you're one of Lady Gaga's diehard fans. Anyway, I like certain bands such as: Coldplay, One Republic, All american Rejects, Owl City, Simple Plan, Hoobastank, The Beatles, Green Day, etc. Once again, I did not display any female artist not because I hate them, it's just that I prefer male to female because I haven't heard as many songs heard by female artists apart from Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.

Okay, next I would like to recommend to you songs from the various bands shown: Owl City, All American Rejects, Coldplay, One Republic, Hoobastank, Simple Plan. For Owl City, I recommend Fireflies and Vanilla Twilight, as for All American Rejects: It Ends Tonight and Breakin'. For Coldplay: The Scientist and Yellow, as for One Republic: Say (All I Need), All The Right Moves. Finally, Hoobastank: The Reason and Simple Plan: Perfect. Please if you do have the time, try to find them and listen to them as well.

I'm sorry if I took a lot of your time reading this and I also deeply apologise if I offended you in anyway in band selection and music selection as well. But I'm just expressing my thoughts, everybody has their own perception on the songs in which they like and I have no right to change their mind about it. I think you would be relieved that I have ended yet another long blog entry and I thank you if you read this. So... Goodbye!

One of my interests... Music (School assignment)

Hi, I'm back once again. However, this time around, I'm going to talk about one of my interests... and that's music. I've already explained that I was interested in music as it was one of my hobbies in my first post while i was introducing myself. Therefore, you shouldn't be surprised.

Moving on, what makes music so interesting that it became one of my hobbies? It's because I love listening to different genres of music, also it can help soothe or calm someone else too. It's due this reason that gave birth to my ultimate goal and dream as well. As a result, I often go onto youtube to watch so many music videos just to listen to the music! I at least spent about 2-3 hours a day, either surfing the internet for good songs or to just download songs which I like.

Did you know that I often use music to help me study or read my textbooks? Srangely, it has an effect on me, as it helps me memorise the text in the books a lot easier and faster. When I'm free, I try to spend that amount of time, to either learn a new piece or compose a new song just for entertainment value. I'm SO obsessed with music that sometimes, I either sing in the bathroom while showering or lock myself in my own bedroom and sing out loud to my heart's content.

I don't just say that I enjoy music as my hobby and interest, I actually prove it. For the past few years, I've been learning piano and keyboard all the way up till primary six, where my mother told me to drop it due to having PSLE. Since then, I stopped all music activities for a few months before starting it all again. I didn't play another music instrument until I had sudden interest in playing the guitar. Finally, I had the courage to ask my father to get me a guitar for christmas last year and it succeeded. So, I switched from piano to guitar and now currently taking up guitar lesson at a music school.

Isn't it just amazing to see how far people are willing to go just to enjoy their own hobby? I mean, let's take my mother for an example, she LOVES dancing so much that she's willing to send my sister and herself to thailand just to get a dancing partner, also spending thousands of dollars on just dancing lessons alone. Hey, I'm no exception as well. All those people who have just read this, I feel very grateful just to have acknowledge this or give pointers, but I wish you would also put down what your interests are and how far you're willing to go just for it.

Food (School Assignment... I Know)

Hi~ This is Tristen once again... I'm sory but I'm afraid that this is another one of my school assignments and I have no choice but to do it. So please endure it if you're viewers from the public, if not... moving on. This time's topic is on food. During this time, I am going to have to blog about what I like to eat and what I absolutely despise of all to digest. First up, the picture to my left, is a picture of what MOST people would hate to eat. (I said MOST). The dish is something containg vegetables such as brocolli and the only good thing is that the tofu in it is something in which I like to eat. Not only that, the sauce used in this dish is actually the sauce used from the brocolli used in the process of cooking it. So imagine the yellowish liquid going down your throat... absolutely disgusting. Also, this is a ish commonly cooked in my household, so eating this everyday, isn't too much of a problem, it's just that why do I keep seeing it appear on my dinning table every night...

Right, the next picture once again on my left is a dish in which I quite enojoyed that night. Even though it's quite simple when it comes to the ingredients, it still tastes very good if you ask me. Basically, this dish is made out of tofu as the fillings and flour hardened to make it crispy as the outer cover. People at first glance, would probabl think that this dish was most likely to be nuggets or some kind of western dish cooked stir-fried, but no, I'm going to have to say that you're wrong. Even I thought that is was nuggets until I tried it out one night and it was pratically so good that I went for two servings of that! If I actually think back to eat, how I wished that I could eat it once more. Also, this was another dish cooked at home, even though, it's the first time I actually saw it.

You guys must be thinking? Why is this guy only showing us food that is commonly cooked at home? Is he trying to tell us that he is so poor that he can only cook home food for dinner. No, that is my answer. First of all, it's convenient to cook home food at home because it's easily accessible without having to counter any major problem. Second of all, it's EXPENSIVE to eat out all the time to do that just to take pictures of the dishes. I apologise if I'm being too rude but I thought that maybe I just had to speak my mind out. For the last time, I'm showing a picture of what I eat basically everyday for lunch, and dinner at home if I haven't already eaten at school. It's just plain rice, together with tofu, potato and chicken meat, last of all, finish with a sunny side-up mashed into bits to have the yolk and the egg white all over it to make it look... unique in some sense. Okay that's all I have for this time and I'm sorry if this time, I was perhaps being a little too boring, but's let's hope for the best and that I do well for this class assignment. So Long...

Hi... My Name... is...

Hi, my name is Tristen. my dream is to be part of a successful band as being it's composer and guitar player as well, even though I'm still learning. My hobbies are to listen to different genres of musics and try to get them into my MP3 player. Also, my favourite food are nothing but simple dishes such as... rice... and egg too. Last of all my weaknesses are girls as I don't want to have as much contact with the opposite gender. Yeah, you probably guessed it... I'm a boy, a male.

Well, I hope that's more than enough personal info from me, beacuse... that's probably all there is to it. But the thing is that, due to me having a younger sister as my sibling, and because we practically hate each other's guts and despise to see each other's faces, that could probably be the reason as to why I object so strongly being together with girls. Just the thought about it already give me the creeps. And I'm not gay as well, I'm just shy around them. Well, I think that's more than enough to talk about me. And I know, that it must be sickening to see me introduce myself as my first post but it's because of a school assignment that I had to start a blog after so many years of not doing so. But seriously, trust me, my later posts will definitely be better than this, I promise... Apart from school assignments.
